The Inter-American Housing Union La Unión Interamericana para la Vivienda (Uniapravi) participó en el 32º Congreso Mundial de la International Union for Housing Finance (IUHF) 2024, que tuvo lugar en Berlín, Alemania, los días 18 y 19 de septiembre.
The challenges and opportunities of the housing sector and its financing were discussed at this event. The president of Uniapravi, Mr. Jose Luis Ventura Castaños, presented an analysis of the context of Latin America and the Caribbean in the panel on regional development in housing financing and the economy. For his part, former president Mr. Jorge Yarza was a panelist at the discussion table on housing for vulnerable groups.
The 32nd IUHF World Congress brought together housing and housing finance experts, policy makers, regulators and other stakeholders to discuss the challenges and ways forward in the housing and housing finance sector. The event provided an excellent platform for the exchange of ideas and networking.
